California Rivalry Revisited…
July 30th 2008 12:04 pm
This Sunday is the last game between our beloved San Jose Earthquakes and the Fallacy. Based on the performance of last Sunday (minus Eric Denton’s mishap of course!), I feel more confident than ever that our Boys will bring it all and come out on top this week. Our new additons look hungry for goals and the only reason they didn’t come in bunches was due to some small miscus in the final third. I think one more week of practice will get all our guys on the same page and those final passes will start connecting. Also the return of Arturo Alvarez to the Quakes means will have another weapon in our arsenal and option for Frank. I’m sure that this Sunday will be the true classic showdown we have all been anticipating since the Quakes were restarted. Hopefully this final chapter in this season saga on the greatest soccer rivalry in America will conclude with a Quakes victory.
Just a reminder, we will be standing in the same sections as last game (in Oakland) next to the Ultras. Let’s work with them to double the volume of our voices and really get the Coliseum rockin!!!
