Kezar Stadium, Saturday
February 15th 2008 10:18 am
Hey All,
Thanks to those of you who were able to make it out to the game Wednesday night. If you couldn’t make it check out some of the pics of what you missed (click on pictures on the right).
Looking forward to Saturday, the 1906-Ultras will be the host supporters group for that game. This means they will be running the show relative to the supporters section. We will be following their cheers and songs and supporting them. They will be gathering before the game at Kezar’s pub across the street from the stadium. Also, after the game there will be an informal celebration with some of the Quakes players at Kezar Pub. Check their website for more info. Also as a reminder, the 1906-Ultras are not as family friendly as the Casbah, so if you were thinking of bringing your little Casbah and standing in the supporters section I would advise against it.
See you there!
Props to Mel, Leanne, and the gang new and old for getting it together. Should be fun at both ends, and tomorrow in SF.
And if anyone makes it tomorrow to SF, there will be a postgame pub at the Kezar Pub across the street. Also be aware that parking is extremely limited–there is a lot adjacent to the stadium and given the demand of Wednesday’s game it’s going to very crowded so get there early. Otherwise you may need to take BART, get off at any Market Street Station, and hop on the N-Judah rail and get off at Stanyan.
Caltrain runs on a weekend schedule so you will need to plan accordingly.
Also, if anyone is still alert after the post-game Kezar Pub crawl, I highly recommend Space Gallery in SF–it’s at Polk between Sutter and Post. OK!
